How many people can use the trampoline at a time?
All SkyBound USA Trampolines are intended for use by only one person bouncing at any time.
How much space do I need?
We recommend you add an extra foot or two, to the size of the trampoline you wish to purchase for a “safety buffer” around your trampoline area.
How long does it take to assemble?
The Stratos on average takes 1.5 – 2 hours to install.
Can I set it up myself, or do I need help with assembly?
The Stratos typically requires at least 2 people for assembly.
Can I order parts for my SkyBound trampoline?
SkyBound model trampoline parts are only available to purchase over the phone with our support agents, please call us at: 888-891-4689 to expedite your order.
Can you use it indoors and outdoors?
The Stratos is designed to be used outdoors in your backyard.
How many inches is the enclosure pole?
The overall enclosure pole length is 86.62 inches.
Should the trampoline be anchored to the ground?
For safety and stability, anchors are a great way to make sure your trampoline does not move about or shake. However, unless you live in an area with high winds, your SkyBound trampoline shouldn’t need anchoring.
Should it be stored during winter months?
There are a few things you can do to protect your trampoline whether you’re storing it away until summer or plan on using it all year long
If you’re not using your trampoline in the winter, store it away in a dry place. For maximum protection, purchase a cover. In bad weather, it is recommended that you put away your trampoline whenever there are harsh weather conditions to avoid any weather-related damages. A covered trampoline can remain outdoors throughout the winter and will protect it from dirt, debris and harsh weather conditions. You can also remove the mat and springs and store them indoors for the winter. Most frames can be left outdoors all winter. If you go this route, make sure that you store your springs in a dry place and oil them before reattaching the mat in the spring. You may also want to invest in an anchor kit, to prevent your trampoline from going airborne during a storm or in windy weather.
If you are using your trampoline in the winter, use a soft bristle brush or broom to remove snow, leaves, and debris. Never use a shovel to remove debris or snow as it can rip or damage the mat/netting. You can also remove the padding when not in use. If you live in an area that’s prone to high winds, make sure that your trampoline is anchored down or stored away during the harsh winter months.
Is the trampoline hard to move once assembled?
We do not recommend the trampolines be moved much once assembled, but if necessary, we would say 4-5 people should help move the trampolines.
Can you attach a ladder?
Yes, our 3-step adjustable trampoline ladder will fit on this model.
Can I use my trampoline on concrete?
It is highly recommended that you don’t use your trampoline of concrete or hard surfaces, as this greatly increases the possibility of injury.
Can I still have a trampoline if my section is sloping?
You can get away with a slight slope, around 5-10 degrees. Anything steeper than this will be uncomfortable to jump on.
Is a spring pull tool included?
Yes! When your trampoline arrives, it’s ready for you to set up.
Will the springs rust?
All premium springs are treated with a heavy-duty Zinc coating which protects the galvanized springs from corrosion and helps resist the onset of rust.
If I jump against the net will I hit the poles?
In the event of a crash, the safety net slows the jumper down and pushes them back towards the jumping space. Though if you weigh more than (approx) 90 lbs and jump hard enough into the net you could hit the safety net poles. For extra safety, poles are wrapped in padded foam sleeves to protect the jumper from serious injury.
Can I hit the springs and or frame when jumping/crashing into the safety net?
In the event of a crash, the safety net slows the jumper down and pushes them back towards the jumping space. The springs and frame are protected with high-density foam, this greatly reduces impact forces and any potential injury. In the unlikely event that the jumper is heavy enough and jumps/crashes hard enough into the net, they can come into contact with the springs and/or frame area.
